When it comes to taking care of others and their well-being, one cannot ignore a careful choice of all the elements that become part of the experience. For this reason I am pleased to present what you will find in my studio:
The Sweet Almond Oil used is 100% pure and of the highest quality, coming from cold pressing . Sweet Almond is a excellent emollient and is known for its ability to soften and recondition the skin. It is rich in protein and vitamin D and is considered to be extremely nutritious , especially when used regularly. Contains olein glyceride linoleic acid. It can be expected to soothe dry skin and irritated areas.
The Coconut Oil used is 100% pure, top quality, edible and organically grown. It has a more fluid and light texture than Almond Oil and is therefore suitable for summery massages, such as the Hawaiian Massage. Rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins, it is a natural antibacterial and antifungal, and a notable moisturizer and nourisher with anti-aging qualities. Contrary to popular belief, if it is of good quality it is almost odorless.
Shea Butter is particularly rich in fatty acids and vitamins that protect and brighten the skin, leaving it soft and velvety. Used since ancient times for its emollient and hydrating properties, it is suitable for both young and mature skin, providing a pleasant sensation of softness. I use Shea Butter, mixed with another vegetable oil with excellent emollient properties, in the Relaxing Facial Massage, for which it is particularly suitable.
I use only essential oils, or blends of oils, very pure, chemotyped and from certified companies; they are products that are found exclusively in pharmacies or herbalists or that come from companies that produce them specifically for use in massages. Some of them, if the properties of the plant from which they are extracted allow it, are edible (eg essential oil of lemon or rosemary).
If the type of massage allows it, it is possible - upon prior request - to combine it with the use of lava stones. The lava stones are heated before the massage and then placed on the body so as to slowly release the accumulated heat. Of volcanic origin, they are deeply relaxing, have grounding and balancing properties, help drain liquids and eliminate toxins from the body.
I don't use paper rolls or synthetic materials, but cotton towels chosen for their quality, with a weight of 500 g/m2. Hammam Towels are handcrafted in Turkey by family-run Fair Trade companies and have a superior texture and quality to standard Hammam fabrics. The detergent they are washed with contains 100% plant-based surfactants, is dermatologically hypoallergenic, and is not tested on animals. Nothing is left to chance!
The futon used in my Ground Massages is made in a responsible and sustainable way according to the Thai artisan tradition. Its lining is organic cotton. It is padded with ecological kapok: a natural and organic fiber that is breathable and adapts perfectly to the body, making the mattress solid and absolutely comfortable.
Each background soundtrack is designed to accompany the massaged person to live the best immersive experience. This is especially true for emotional massages like the Californian one, for massages inspired by the Ocean like the Lomi Lomi or for oriental ones like the Thai Massage.
